Leadership Training Institute

“A wise man will listen and will add to his wisdom, and the intelligent will gain leadership.”

– Proverbs 1:5

Favor’s Leadership Training Institute is a blend of in-class and hands-on instruction tailored to produce powerful ministers of spiritual and cultural transformation engaged in the work of renewal before they ever leave the classroom. Comprised of six separate schools, the Institute builds up every facet of the student’s character and vocation over two years, from ministerial to business skills.

Evangelism & Discipleship Meeting

This university-level 4-year degree program caps effective preparation for empowered leadership. The training fills academic gaps that are common from prior educational institutions while adding training not found elsewhere in northern Uganda or South Sudan. The coursework is intended to be completed by working ministers and professional leaders in 3-5 years.

Favor operates a Leadership training Institute in each nation, through our offices or rented facilities and dedicated trainers. Though our team has dreamed, prayed, and prepared curriculum for the LTI for years, we only began our first classes in 2019. In January 2020, 95 missionaries enrolled from Uganda, 52 from S. Sudan, and 32 people enrolled in our new 2-year Bible College.

You can support the university training of an empowered leader for only $120 monthly, or a group of four friends can support an individual for only $30 monthly each! Your support allows a future leader to obtain necessary equipping without having to tax extended family with costs beyond essentials. This monthly cost covers the tuition expense at Favor’s cost to provide the materials, mentors, and professional experiences. The result will be equipping leaders to sustain God’s presence and truth into every influential mountain of culture.

“They wanted to cross the water, so what did they do? They cried to Moses, and Moses cried to God. God said, ‘Raise the rod.’ What happened? The waters parted. They walked on dry ground. But now when Israel was ready to take the Promised Land of Canaan, did God say to Joshua to raise the rod? What did He say? ‘Put your feet in the water!’ It was a different tactic. You better hear God for every battle. The first battle it was ‘Raise the rod.’ The second battle, ‘Put your feet in the middle of opposition, and I will give you the land of Canaan.'”

Recent Leadership Training Institute Reports

Current Leadership Training Institute Initiatives

One of our chief goals in our work in Uganda and South Sudan is to raise up leaders who can transform their nations for the glory of God! One of the ways that we do this is through our Leadership Training Institute! We currently operate this program out of other ministry buildings….but our long term vision is that as this program expands and more students come to be trained, that we will have an LTI Campus where many men and women of northern Uganda can be trained together and sent out into the world!

“Moreover, look for able men from all the people, men who fear God, who are trustworthy and hate a bribe, and place such men over the people as chiefs of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties, and of tens”. – Exodus 18:21

The ministry in the year 2016 established a Leadership Training Institute (LTI)with the main vision of raising strong Christian leaders and since then, about 75 of our staff got enrolled into the institute to get training in Biblical leadership style – The areas of focus are on family strengthening and building authentic spiritual leadership;

Over the years, we have supported staff with tuition fees especially at the university levels in line with their current job positions. A number of our own team have benefited from this programs through offerings that the ministry gives to the individual staff who aspires to further their studies for work performance improvement purposes. Through this, we have witnessed our team grow into various professionals such as in accountancy/CPA, Media management, project management and leadership among others.

A Word from Favor

“You want God to do the impossible? Put your feet into the impossibility, and watch God divide the water… You watch God do the supernatural, but go step on it. Go step on it.”
