Why is it important enough to challenge people to give to this organization; why should anyone invest their lives with us? It is important to challenge people to give to this organization because we have a time-sensitive opportunity to shape two nations by the work that Favor of God is doing in Uganda and South Sudan. People should give weighty consideration to investing their lives with us because of the unique possibilities to advance God’s Kingdom into nations that are open to the message of the Gospel, particularly when it is married to building strength into the nation through education, medical care, leadership and character development, childcare, and empowerment of various groups that have experienced gross inequities.

Why is it valuable and what is at stake nationally and globally? The work of Favor of God is valuable because we are after transforming the hearts of men, women, boys and girls. We do not go after one particular issue, but we go after the root cause of the many issues that are out of order – the unregenerate hearts of sinful men and women. At stake is the life of the nations. Without the work we are doing, the nation would return to an unchallenged state of civil war, instances of genocide, the increasing brutalization of women and children, in particular, and the killing of husbands, fathers and the next generation. This affects the global community by calling on other nations to pour in thousands of dollars to try and bring humanitarian relief or safety forces into these unstable nations.

“If you cannot bind up the broken heart and the wound of a nation or a person, they will eventually die. There’s an obstacle against healing, and there’s been an obstacle against reaching the unreached.”

A Word from Favor

“You want God to do the impossible? Put your feet into the impossibility, and watch God divide the water… You watch God do the supernatural, but go step on it. Go step on it.”
